No. 2431; Jesus Christ, Creator Prophet (Poetry)

A poem on Hebrews 1:1-12.

In times of old, God’s voice was heard
through Prophets speaking His Holy Word.
But now, in these Last Days of Grace,
He speaks through Christ, His shining face.

Through Him, He made both Earth and skies,
the Heir of all where creation lies, โ€”
the Radiance of God’s own Glory,
the Image of God most Holy.

He holds the world by His Power
and Purges sin no matter the hour.
Now seated at the Father’s side,
the Son is Exaltedโ€”Glorified.

No angel bears a name so great;
the Lord God’s Throne shall ne’er abate.
For Christ, the Son, is King alone,
Eternal Lord upon His Throne.

Your years, O Lord, will never fade,
though Earth may crumble and heav’ns degrade.
Like garments worn, You’ll fold them away,
but You’ll remain, unbound by days.

Forever firm, Your Rule will stand,
and the work of Your unchanging hand.
The Son of God, both True and Bright;
His Kingdom reigns with Endless Light.
