A poem on Psalm 68.

Let God arise; His foes shall flee
like Smoke that’s scattered by the sea.
As Wax before the fire will fade,
the Wicked fall where wrath is laid.
But let the Righteous sing with cheer, โ
to sing to God, their Refuge near.
He rides the clouds, His name extolled, โ
a Father strong, His love unfolds.
The orphan finds a Home in Him;
He frees Captives, their Hope no whim.
The Earth shook once at Sinai’s sight
when God appeared in Holy Might.
The heavens poured their rain anew,
reviving lands where life once grew.
Your people dwelled, their needs supplied
by Mercy’s hand and holy tide.
The Lord proclaims the victors’ song;
a host of women chant it strong.
The kings retreat, their armies fall;
God reigns Supreme above them all.
He takes His throne on Zion’s hill,
where strength and peace His Temple fill.
Sing praise to Him who rides the skies, โ
the Mighty One, whose Power flies!
To nations far, His Word extends;
His strength a Shield, His love Defends.
O Israel’s God, Your ways are true.
All Glory, Lord, belongs to You!
