A poem on Romans 13:8-14.

Owe no one anything but Love, โ
a Gift that comes from God above.
For he who loves fulfills the Law,
and sees no faultโgo grievous flaw.
No theft, no harm, no jealous eyes,
no acts where Selfish impulse lies.
For Love does Good and seeks no Strife,
its path the sum of a Holy Life.
The time has come to wake from Sleep,
for Night recedes, its Shadows steep.
Salvation draws the Dawn’s first light
and breaks the hold of Endless Night.
Put off the deeds of Dark Disguise
and clothe yourselves with Jesus Christ.
With Armor bright, take up the Day,
and walk with Christโthe Narrow Way.
No room for Lust, no space for Pride,
let Love and Mercy be your Guide.
Nor in Drunkenness shall you walk,
but in the Shepherd’s Sober Flock.
