A poem on Psalm 31.

In You, O Lord, I take my stand;
redeem me by Your mighty Hand.
Incline Your ear, and swiftly Save;
for You, my Rock, my Refuge gave.
Be strong for meโa Fortress sure, โ
to Guide my steps and keep me pure.
Deliver me from Snares that lay;
for You, O God, have paved my way.
Into Your Hands, my spirit flows, โ
redeeming love Your heart bestows.
I hate the Lies the world has spun,
but I trust the Lordโthe Holy One.
Your Steadfast love will shine so bright
upon the ones who walk in Light.
You’ve seen my Painโmy soul’s deep Ache, โ
and kept me safe for Mercy’s sake.
Though Grief has made my body frail,
and foes surround (their whispers wail),
I Trust in You; You are my Guide.
My times are Safeโmy fears subside.
Let shame fall on the ones who plot, โ
their Lies exposed, their Schemes forgot.
But let Your face upon me shine,
and Save me, Lord, by love divine.
Be Strong, all those whose hearts believe;
the Lord will Strengthen and Relieve.
In Him, the Righteous find their Stay, โ
a Shelter sure by night or day.
