I believe in God my Father,
who made Heaven and Earth;
He made me and all creatures.
Like God there is no other,
for He creates with boundless mirth.
I believe in God my Father.
He gave me my body with continual care
ever since my moment of birth.
He made me and all creatures.
He gives me food, clothing, home, and father, —
His providence is never in dearth.
I believe in God my Father.
He defends me from evil and danger;
therefore, my worship is ne’er in dearth.
