Dear mothers,
you are not defined by:
     the circumstances of your birth
          your past,
               your sin,
                    your shame.

You are defined
by the life of Christ:
     His resurrection,
          His forgiveness,
               His redemption,
                    His providence.

His body, the church,
offers hospitality:
     shelter from harm,
          aid in good health,
               forgiveness of sins,
                    a home for all families.
